PADANG RICE

Padang rice is a typical Minangkabau dish, West Sumatra which consists of steamed rice and various ready-to-eat side dishes. The following are some of the characteristics of Nasi Padang: Appearance: Nasi Padang served in the form of a mountain. Side dishes: Nasi Padang is served with a variety of choice side dishes, such as beef rendang, fish curry, chicken pop, and sambal lado mudo. Seasoning: Nasi Padang is prepared with various herbs and spices, such as ginger, lemongrass, turmeric and galangal. Serving: At Padang restaurants, food is served in a unique way, namely made like a mini buffet. Taste: Padang cuisine has a main taste of spicy and savory. Nasi Padang is one of Indonesia's culinary treasures which is very famous and sought after by many people.
