Simple Present Tense (Negative)
David is a kind boy, but he sometimes makes mistakes. Every day, he goes to school on time, but he does not pay attention in class. His teacher says, "David, you do not listen carefully. That’s why you don’t understand the lessons."
At home, his father asks, "David, why are your grades low? You are not lazy, but you do not focus enough." David feels bad and promises, "I will try harder tomorrow."
His little brother, Liam, laughs and says, "You always say that, but you do not change!" David smiles and replies, "This time, I will prove it to you."
