Watching Movie Assignment

Objective:

• To improve listening skills.
• To expand vocabulary.
• To practice summarizing and expressing opinions in English.

Instructions:

1. Choose a Movie:

   • Make sure it has English subtitles if needed.
   • Select an English movie or a short film (recommended duration: 60-90 minutes).

2. While Watching:

   • Take notes on the main plot, key characters, and important events.
   • Focus on any new vocabulary or interesting phrases you hear.

3. After Watching:

   • Write a short summary (100-150 words) of the movie, including:
     • Title and genre.
     • Main characters.
     • Main plot (beginning, conflict, and resolution).
   • Answer the following questions:
     • What did you like most about the movie?
     • Which scene did you find the most interesting or emotional? Why?
     • Did you learn any new words or expressions? Mention at least five.
   • Rate the movie out of 5 stars and explain your rating.

4. Submission:

   • Submit your summary and answers on paper or in a digital document.
   • Be ready to share your thoughts in the next class.
