Narrative text adalah teks yang bertujuan menghibur pembaca dengan menceritakan suatu kejadian atau cerita, biasanya berupa legenda, dongeng, atau cerita rakyat.

Munculnya masalah atau konflik.

Penyelesaian masalah.

Menggunakan past tense

The Clever Mouse Deer
Once upon a time, there lived a clever mouse deer in the forest. One day, he wanted to cross a river. Unfortunately, many crocodiles were swimming there.
The mouse deer had an idea. He told the crocodiles that the king wanted to count them. The crocodiles lined up happily. The mouse deer then jumped on their backs and crossed the river safely.
Finally, the mouse deer laughed and thanked the crocodiles. He was very proud of his clever idea.
